Description: Aime Roquesante is made in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, its roots firmly in the classic traditions of Southern French wines. Located in the commune of Vidauban, the wine reflects all the rich nuances of the terroir. The soils are exceptionally free-draining and the vines are protected by the influence of the Mistral wind. The wine displays a pale rose color with warm aromas of wild flowers, bergamot, and strawberries. On the palate the mineral tone is pronounced and it really shows the classic characteristics of Provence rosé. The flower tone is prevalent with subtle citrus fruit undertones. The mouthfeel is soft and round with an acid level that creates a juicy core but not overly racy.
Food pairings: Aperitif, Charcuterie, cheese plates, salads, nicoise salad, grilled salmon, strawberries, veggies, light-fare, grilled fish, etc.
