Notes: Organic, indigenous yeast, old vines (20 to 100 old).
Description: These grapes are from an ancient time and have been cultivated on the Grazia estate for over 100 years. The rootstocks are thick as a tree trunk and produce small dark berries from mostly Tintore. Dark garnet in color. Aromas of blue fruit, pomegranate, and evergreen berries. Medium to full-bodied with a fleshy texture and juicy, mouthwatering acidity. Soft, integrated tannins with blue fruit, saddle leather and a hint of roasted almond on the palate.
Food pairings: Strong-flavored cheeses (provolone, gouda), roasted game, grilled lamb, spicy dishes, etc.
