Description: Considered to be one of the finest producers in the Maconnais. Christophe and his team work the vineyards traditionally, without the use of herbicides or pesticides, while plowing the vineyards by horse. The wine displays a soft flint-like mineral tone, buttercream, and oak aromatics. Excellent acid/ alcohol balance with a long saline finish. On the palate it display a medium-bodied mouthfeel with classic buttery-nuttiness that is intertwined with a soft mineral tone toward the finish.
Food pairing: Cheese (brie, chaumes, triple-cream), cream and butter sauces, fish (cod, bass, dover sole, etc.), lobster, shellfish, turkey, chicken, sweetbreads, risotto, pork loin, gnocchi, etc.
