Description: This winery dates back to 1627 under the Anheuser name. In 1842, Rudolf Anheuser was on of the few winemakers in the Nahe region of Germany who recognized the pure character of the Riesling vine. Paul Anheuser took over the estate and refined the dry wines and his son Rudolf P., has led the winery since 1969.
Produced from 100% Pinot Noir from the estate vineyards in Kreuznach. The grapes are pressed and only the clear-run juice is used.
Revealing aromas of melon and sandalwood. Medium weight on the palate with a round mouth feel displaying starfruit and green figs. Good long finish.
