Description: Since 2003, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo appellation was granted DOCG (the highest classification in Italy). Colline Teramane, owner of Nicodemi winery is at the center of this new appellation. The collaboration with enologist Paolo Caciorgna, established itself as a leader of Abruzzo's highest quality Montepulciano. The Nicodemi "Terrana" is a bang- for -your -buck, made from grapes of young vines at this prestigious estate. This easy-going red exhibits impressive, surprisingly delicious and authentic characteristics, with aromas of black fruit, expresso, and cocoa. Medium-bodied wine on the palate with slightly gripping tannin, black fruit, low-hanging violets and wood root. Good structure with well-rounded.
