Made using an Ethiopian recipe, this mead (honey wine) is made upstate in the USA. One of the world’s earliest fermented drinks mentioned in ancient texts and scriptures. Legend has it that Tej was one of the many gifts carried by Makeda, Queen of Sheba to the Jerusalem’s King Solomon. This is a off-dry style of mead with spicy and dried honey notes.
