Notes: 20 year old vines, 85% Slovenian neutral oak and 15% new.
Description: The 2011 Barolo Sorano is a big, bold wine with dense concentration and a dark Nebbiolo color. The aromatic intensity is noteworthy and expressive with an extremely balanced mouthfeel.
Serralunga D’Alba has south to southwest facing slopes and an altitude which ranges from 280 to 350m above seal level. Calcareous, silty-marly soil with sand.
This wine is made by rising star, Matteo Ascheri.
