Description: Demorgenzon Estate uses satelite and historical data to get to the essence of winemaking. The combination of the best block boundaries and the allocation of cultivars that best assist the varietals suited for each block. Wendy and Hylton Appelbaum bought DeMorgenzon, "the morning sun" which was which was so named because it is the first part of stellenbosch valley to see the sun due to its high altitude and geographical location. Year after year this wine is always consistently balanced. DeMorgenzon does a great job of getting all aspects of the wine to shine. Fresh acidity, notes of buttercream, almonds, and apple; hints of vanilla with a clean finish.
