Fruity, round, medium-body white wine
Region: Italy> Lombardy> Brescia.
Notes: Sustainable farming. Stainless steel tank.
Owner Massimo Sbruzzi owns a small estate in the village of Pozzolengo, to the south of scenic Lake Garda. Restricted grape production and early morning harvesting by hand into small baskets allows healthy fruit that retains the greater richness of lower yields. Many producers feel that Turbiana grape is very similar to the Marche’s Verdicchio. Massimo stops fermentation when the alcohol content is approximately 13%, resulting in a wine with 5-7 g/l of residual sugar, which balances nicely with the natural high acidity of the Turbiana grape. Enticing aromas of apple pie with mineral undertones. Round mouth feel, thick texture, clean mineral finish.
Food Pairing: Pork chop, spicy food, aged cheese.
