Strength: 46.3 % (92.6 ABV proof ) Description: Ledaig 10yrbSingle Malt Scotch for ten full years, oak wood casks lie in rest in ancient vaults. Within them, the aromatic Lochan waters marry with the peated malted barley to create a deep golden treasure that is both floral and smoky. Ledaig is one of our exquisite peated single malts, an integral part of the Tobermory family. Definition: Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced from only water and malted barley at a single distillery by batch distillation in pot stills, one that is produced entirely from malt in one distillery must be aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years. Any age statement on a bottle of Scotch whisky, expressed in numerical form, must reflect the age of the youngest whisky used to produce that product. There are four regions: the highlands, the lowlands, the Isle of Islay, and Campbeltown due to the large number of distilleries found there, the Speyside region is now recognized by the Scotch Whisky Association {SWA} as a distinct region.
