Fruity, soft, light-body rose wine
Region: Austria> Burgenland.
Notes: Sustainable farming.
Strong, bright rosé color. On the nose marked by wild berries, pomegranate and pink grapefruit. On the palate it’s soft and silky with crisp freshness and juicy fruit. Blaufrankisch is a black-skinned wine grape grown widely in Austria. But its stronghold is unquestionably Burgenland, where this pretty rose comes from. Burgenland, south of Vienna close to the Hungarian border, with its sunny, continental summers, is Austria's key red wine region. The Strehn family has been operating the winery for four generations as family business.
Food pairing: Aperitif, charcuterie, light meal.
